The extension and refurbishment of a townhouse in Notting Hill has a few surprises !

The previously unused lower ground floor has been completely refurbished creating a single, flowing open-plan space containing the new kitchen and main living room, looking out onto the landscaped, sunken terrace. The new minimal extension to the rear connects these rooms with a double-height void and balcony to the floor above and the new, large glazed screen to the rear terrace came disappear completely into the floor automatically on the touch of a button.
