The Springtime Sofa develops the theme of the “à cabane” seat with deep seating sofas that can be shaded by a light textile or rattan cover to create a private space. The collection comes with various accessories, such as a pouf, small tables and an enameled steel brazier. The collection creates a consistent landscape, whose refinement is based on the use of white varnished aluminium frames, stainless steel holders and waterproof fabrics that match the fleece upholstery of padded parts.
The Ray Fabric Sofa presents a “ribbon” interlacing made of polypropylene fibre that is resistant to both UV radiations and atmospheric agents. The colour range, which particularly blends into an outdoor setting, ranges from turquoise and blue to tortora and bright bordeaux. This collection includes sofas available in two depths and modular elements, from terminal elements to the chaise longue and armchair.
The Ray Natural Sofa has a light extruded aluminium frame and features a “rope” interlacing inspired by natural abaca and designed to perfectly merge with nature. It uses textilene that is perfectly suited for outdoor settings.
The “Butterfly” shape created by the outer corner that joins the armrest and the backrest defines this sofa. It is a modular seating system that responds effectively to the needs of modularity and comfort, suitable for free and informal usage. Its modular structure is shaped around an ottoman, which is the base piece, and which, when integrated with the backrest and/or the armrest, becomes a central or terminal element. This versatile sofa brings the comfort and innovative design of an indoor sofa outside.
The outdoor Ravel Sofa is the result of field experimentation in the Philippines, Patricia Urquiola’s work marks a further detailed study of the woven theme, which was successfully presented in the debut Canasta collection. Ravel’s woven polyethylene backs blend with a metal base producing a modular element in two different sizes, that can be freely positioned to form linear or corner seats or chaise longue end units.
The Ray Fabric Chaise Longue presents a “ribbon” interlacing made of polypropylene fibre that is resistant to both UV radiations and atmospheric agents. The colour range, which particularly blends into an outdoor setting, ranges from turquoise and blue to tortora and bright bordeaux.
The Husk Outdoor Armchair features a hard shell made of Hirek and a set of soft cushions to express an original design language that is a tribute to softness. The body is white, while the fixed seat support is available in the painted shades of white, black, orange, acid green and sky blue. Husk outdoor is the result of extensive work focused on perfecting the item and artfully preserving the original features that makes the item unique.
The Canasta Coffee Table is inspired by the theme of woven patterns, reviving and personalising the concept with a traditional look in mind, but giving it a decisively contemporary look without using too much nostalgic influence. Vienna straw, with its decorative geometric shape, was another element of inspiration. The collection is enriched by a series of tables and service elements with steel structures.
The Ginestra Table is a large rectangular/round dining table featuring natural teak-wood structural details and designed tops, studied to match central inserts made of Calacatta white porcelain stoneware. The same collection features a chair, always in natural teak-wood, with sinuous harmonious lines that are clearly inspired by northern trends. It is characterised by an interlacing in polypropylene fibre that is ideal for outdoor use. Colours are chosen to match natural teak-wood with a beige interlacing. Comfort is guaranteed by seat and back cushions.
